Get Inside - Grace

It's hard for us to conceive in our loneliest times, that God is still with us. In fact, in our most fearful times, God is with us and even in our sinful times, God is with us. He is with us in the storms of life, when we walk away, when we are angry, bored, passive, and when we are passionate. There is not one single day, hour or minute that goes by when God is not with us. He hears all, sees all, and knows all -- even our thoughts. Nothing escapes Him. Nothing crushes Him, nor eliminates His expectations that one day we (those of us who's name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life) will choose to walk in His footsteps, get off the path to destruction, and be filled with His Holy Spirit.
Knowing the end from the beginning, God can take someone who is lost -- who the world sees as hopeless -- and change that person's life completely. He did it with me. He did it with some of you who are reading this, and He'll do it for some of those we love who we may have given up on. He can make a way where there seems to be no way.
While I was researching Escape the Hezbollah I entered a new world that I had never explored before. Most women in America have no clue what their lives would be like if they grew up in an Islamic country. I don't profess to be an expert on the Qur'an, but I do know that the Muslim religion, the military, and the political system are entwined.
Suffice to say that God knows all of this. He grieves when His children turn their eyes away from Him and when they start looking to the government, the money, the military, a position in life, another person, or a thing for their hope.
Our hope should be in Him, our words should be glorifying to Him and our thoughts should be focused on Him. Only then, will we be sure that we are walking in His will and not our own. Only when we are walking in His will can we be truly free. Free from loneliness, free from fear, free from sin, anger, boredom, destructive passions, passiveness and best of all, free from becoming overwhelmed or manipulated by life outside of grace.
That's all I have for now.
Blessings,
Pola
